I've now been living in Cardiff for nearly a year and have been trying to work out the best places to eat. I have finally created a list of places I hope to visit in the future. They’re different cuisines and different styles of eateries. But all have been recommended at some point by someone. So here they are:

I’m not sure if all these places are still open, or indeed have kept their reputation, but there's only one way to find out. If they've been struck through, I've already been. Which doesn't mean I wouldn't want to go back to some of them.
If anyone has any other recommendations, I’d love to hear them.
And I'm still searching for a good chippie!
